About Rian
• Currently in foster care
• Good with alone time
• Toilet trained
Sweet Rian lives life with gusto. Rian doesn’t just walk, he struts and he prances. Rian doesn’t just do zoomies and play bows around the house, but he frolics joyously.
When he sleeps, which is a lot, he finds the best pillows in the house. He loves toys and bush walks and butt scratches. This sweet boy just loves life.
At home, he wants to be near his humans. If you’re cooking dinner, he’ll be your sous chef. If you’ve got some repairs or renovations, he’ll be your apprentice. If your grandma is around, he’ll cling to her for ear rubs and lunch scraps.
He’s not your usual quiet greyhound, he shares all his thoughts and feelings: small dogs make him cry, noisy video games make him grumble and thunder? Well, he barks at the sky of course. He’s a smart and curious boy who just wants to be in on the action, big or small. He will make you laugh out loud. A lot.
Where this sweet boy needs a little help is with reactivity to dogs, especially small dogs. He’s improving in foster care but will need someone committed to working with him to overcome his fears. He needs a bit of help with some manners too (especially around pizza) but he’s smart, curious and he learns and adapts quickly. He does well with alone time but will greet you with play bows and unbridled joy when you return from work, or the letterbox.
He’s a darling. And have you seen those ears? These are just one of the weapons he uses to work his way into human hearts.
