Shy but sweet little Oliver is looking for his forever home!

Oliver is a lovely kitten who loves pats and scratches by human companions but he is also extremely skittish and will hide if he feels overwhelmed. He is more than happy to have a pat while he is resting in the cat tree at human eye level but he is still unsure about approached while he is on the floor. It doesn’t take long to get him purring and he even will headbutt your face and hands to show his affection!

Oliver has been living with a dog and multiple other foster/resident cats. He has absolutely no problem with the cats and took to liking them almost immediately when he came into care! He does not mind the dog much so long as she is quiet, but is happy to be around her and doesn’t mind her being in his face when she is curious as well.

Oliver spends his day playing and running around with the other cats and can be found curled up in the cat basket or snuggled up with the other cats when he is sleepy, sometimes even having a groom from the resident ‘dad’ cat! He is very playful and loves his toys as well.

Oliver requires a QUIET household where he has his own space to become comfortable in a new environment and around new people. It will take Oliver a few weeks to settle in. He is only just starting to gain full trust in his foster mum and not run away when she is walking around him but she firmly believes that he will become a cuddly little man once he is comfortable. He is a very social kitten and would do best as a friend for another cat and he loves cat companionship and would thrive much quicker that way, but he would do okay on his own as well. His best friend, Mikey (dark tabby pictured) is also available for adoption if you’re looking for a young pair 😉
