About Shirley
Meet Shirley, a small girl with a big heart! She is the epitome of happiness and friendliness, always ready to greet everyone she encounters with her sweet, cuddly nature. Shirley adores people and is an expert at leaning in for all the pats and cuddles she can get. With her affectionate personality, she'll effortlessly become the darling of any home.
While Shirley has moments of excitement, she quickly transitions to her calm, quiet state. Her respectful demeanour makes her the perfect companion for those looking for a dog who can be both lively and serene. Though she's not one for zoomies, Shirley enjoys the occasional playtime with toys. She loves her food and walking adventures, making her perfect for outings to the park or casual strolls.
Shirley is an excellent traveller and adapts well to car rides. Her preference is to hang out with her people. While Shirley is still learning to navigate the canine social scene, she has a particular fondness for other greyhounds and enjoys their company both on and off the lead. For her household, she'd thrive as an only dog or with another greyhound friend.
Due to her gentle disposition, Shirley is suitable for living in an apartment or a home with a small yard and can do well with children over five years old. Shirley may not be suitable for homes with pocket pets or cats. She also needs a bit more practice with her greetings and lead walking around other dog breeds—something her new family can help her with.
If you're seeking a loveable and calm companion, Shirley is more than ready to be your affectionate, loyal friend. She just asks for a cozy spot at home and plenty of love.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Has a small divert in her shoulder muscle from an injury as a puppy, causes her no issue. Has had a dental clean recently
