About Sherman
Meet Sherman, a charming bundle of energy and affection who's ready to join an active family with children aged 5 and up. Sherman's playful and energetic nature makes him a joy to be around. His love for toys, zoomies, and walks keeps him on the move, transforming lazy afternoons into fun-filled adventures. When he's had his fill of exercise, Sherman turns delightfully cuddly and lazy, often sprawling into some rather interesting sleeping positions that are sure to bring a smile to your face.
A backyard would make Sherman especially happy, as he loves having space to zoom around and play. Though he doesn't get along well with cats or pocket pets, he does enjoy the company of dogs close to his size and is still mastering the art of gentle play with smaller pups against his handsome big-dog charm.
Sherman enjoys saying hello to everyone he meets. If you're out and about with him, he's the perfect companion for social occasions or outings to the dog park. Whether as an only dog or alongside a medium-to-large canine friend, Sherman will thrive in a loving home that values both playtime and treasured cuddle moments.
With Sherman's energy, loyalty, and affectionate demeanour, he's an ideal match for families seeking a lively, warm-hearted companion to brighten their days. If you're seeking a canine friend who brings laughter, love, and a bundle of playful spirit to your life, Sherman is ready to be your leading man!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Does have metatarsal screws in his right hind leg that cause him no issues. Has had a dental clean recently

Adoption details
Step 1: Please contact Anna Rogers, Dog colony supervisor (anna.rogers@tafesa.edu.au) for an application form.
Step 2: Return the completed application form to Anna Rogers. Once we receive your completed application form along with a minimum of 5 photos of your property showing various views of your backyard covering gates, fences, shelter areas for the greyhound and any other area (i.e. inside the house) the greyhound will be residing in. This is so we can assess your property as safe and suitable for a greyhound and match you to the dog that best suits your environment/lifestyle.
Step 3: We will match you with the dog best suited to your situation and lifestyle.
Step 4: A meet in greet will occur with all family members including any existing pet dogs. If everyone gets along and the application is successful, the dog will then be collected at an agreed later date.
Step 5: Collect the dog and shower them with love!
All the greyhounds up for adoption are desexed, microchipped, wormed and vaccinated. The dogs also have had regular dental checks and cleans.
All the dogs come with:
