About Jerwood
Meet Jerwood, the adorable canine companion who's a delightful blend of playfulness and tranquillity. With his sweet and bubbly personality, Jerwood has a knack for bringing joy to everyone he meets. He is the epitome of a social butterfly and loves nothing more than making new friends, human and canine alike.
Jerwood's love for water is undeniable, and he finds sheer happiness in soaking in a paddle pool, with the possibility of beach fun being just as thrilling. He's incredibly affectionate and revels in snuggles and cuddles, the perfect companion for lazy days spent on the couch, in the park or for a cafe date.
In addition to his playful side, Jerwood is notably relaxed. When it comes to venturing out into the world, he's a calm, loose-lead walker who delights in leisurely strolls, lying next to you while enjoying the sights and sounds of a café.
Jerwood thrives on playtime, particularly when there are balls involved, and appreciates having a family to engage him in active games. However, even though he adores running and bouncing around, Jerwood tires quickly and will happily settle down for a rest. While he is great with dogs of all sizes, his excitable nature may sometimes lead to a bit of rough play, so he would do well either on his own or with a kindred canine spirit.
Although Jerwood has a playful and lively spirit, he is best suited to families with children aged five and older. He'd love to be part of a lively and loving home, preferably without pocket pets, and his compatibility with cats has not been tested.
Whether you have a compact apartment or a cozy backyard, Jerwood is adaptable, and with his gentle personality, he's bound to make a wonderful addition to any family who cherishes snuggles and shared adventures.

Adoption details
Step 1: Please contact Anna Rogers, Dog colony supervisor (anna.rogers@tafesa.edu.au) for an application form.

Once we receive your completed application form along with a minimum of 5 photos of your property showing various views of your backyard covering gates, fences, shelter areas for the greyhound and any other area (i.e. inside the house) the greyhound will be residing in.
