About Rani
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A family situation where people are home more often than not OR a large doggie companion
- Children over the age of 12
Meet Rani, a beautiful and gentle girl with the softest fur you'll ever touch. She walks wonderfully on lead and is happy with a daily stroll of 15-20 minutes. She loves to lounge on her cozy beds (often upside down or bed failing) or bask in the sunshine in the backyard.
Rani is a quiet and independent soul who enjoys her own space to relax and unwind. During her time in foster care, she has blossomed and begun to reveal her sweet and gentle personality. She thrives in a calm environment and would be best suited to a peaceful home with older children or adults.
She gets along beautifully with her two foster greyhound sisters and other large dogs. She’d also be perfectly happy as an only dog, as long as she has human companionship throughout the day. While she’s fine being left alone for a few hours, she’d love a home where someone is around most of the time.
Rani is starting to discover the joy of toys—especially when she finds just the right squeaky spot! She travels well in the car, hopping out eagerly to explore new places, though she may need a little help getting in.
She is perfectly toilet trained, sleeps soundly through the night, and will politely walk to the door when she needs to go outside.
If you're looking for a gentle companion who enjoys a quiet, loving home, Rani could be your perfect match!
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
