Meet Charlie! 🌟
Every now and then, a foster comes along that steals everyone’s hearts—Charlie is one of those special ones. With her tiny squeaky meow and affectionate personality, she has charmed her foster family completely.
There are SOOO many reasons to love this little girl, and why we know you will too. Here is what her foster family has to say...
- She’s the perfect mix of personality, loves humans interaction but also appreciating her solo time.
- As soon as she warms up, she’s ready to drop love bombs. She’ll even sleep with you on the first day and curl up on your lap whether you’re relaxing or busy working at your computer.
- She doesn’t like feeling left out. She needs to know what’s going on in the house, she will follow you even if you’re just going to the toilet.
- Her love language is licking and giving gentle bites on your finger. When she’s happy, she’ll let you know with her little motor running.
- Her favourite toy is a feather with a bell, and she loves chasing it. She’ll run to you the moment she hears those little bells jingling.
- She’s very talkative, especially when food or toys are involved, and she’s not shy about letting you know exactly what she wants.
- She’s such a gentle and patient sweetheart. Patting? Ok. Touching her paw? Ok. Playing with her tail? Ok. Belly rub? Ok. But picking her up? Not yet.
- She deserves an Oscar for Best Actress she acts like she hasn’t been fed, just to convince another foster parent to give her an extra meal.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire
We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
Video Tour
We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer
Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home
In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet! Adoption paperwork will follow.
Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation
Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
