Tragically, Smudge had his world turned upside down two months ago when his owner passed away. He had been living a happy life with his owner and a dog companion, but despite a family member agreeing to help care for his doggie sibling, no one has stepped forward to care for him.
Thankfully one of our lovely foster carers took him in and now that he has had time to settle, he is now ready for adoption.
Smudge isn’t just a cat—he’s a work of art. With his silky white coat and stunning heterochromia (one eye like golden honey and the other like a sapphire pool), he’s the definition of elegance.
At first, Smudge may keep his distance, peeking at you from a cozy hideaway. But give him time, and he’ll reward you with quiet devotion. Once he trusts you, Smudge will melt into your lap, follow you from room to room, and offer his “help” while you work from home (quality control is his specialty).

Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire
We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
Video Tour
We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer
Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home
In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet! Adoption paperwork will follow.
Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation
Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
