About Bella
Meet Bella,
Bella has had a bit of a rough run. She ended up in a pound with her siblings as a 6 week old puppy. She ended up in care with us back then and was adopted by her foster carer.
Unfortunately Bella's owner became unwell after owning her for 5 years and due to the severity of their illness was unable to care for her.
Bella loves humans. She loves being near her people and will sleep on her bed near them or follow them around to sus out what they're doing.
Bella loves kids, but can get a little over excited and forget her size sometimes. Because of this she'll need a home with kids over 6, or dog savvy kids!
Bella has lived with other dogs, but hasn't been socialised well so can be very hit and miss with other dogs. Because of this she would best suit as an only dog and would benefit with some socialising training.
Bella knows sit, drop, shake and "on your bed". She also knows not to get on the couch without permission.
She also loves walking but can pull on lead when there are distractions, but is getting better with this with consistent training from her carer.
Her carer has also been working on her recall which shes getting good at!
She is also excellent in the car!
You'll often find her sunbaking or snoozing in her bed. She can be a bit excitable and loves to do zoomies in the backyard and enjoys toys.
She loves going for walks, and playing in the backyard.
One of her favourite things of all time are belly rubs!
While Bella does love a walk, she is a very content with just being around her people and relaxing.
Shes the perfect mix for someone who wants a chilled out girl to keep them company, but also likes the odd walk!
Bella is also happy being left home alone while you are at work.
She can take a little while to adjust to a new homes routine, but this is perfectly normal with rescue dogs.
Bella is a larger breed, but that being said is only around the 30-35kg mark.

Medical notes
Bella had a mast cell tumor removed since coming back into care. This was sent off for testing and came back as low grade and all tumor cells were removed.
It came back as low grade which means there is very small risk, if at all, of her getting anymore tumors.
She has been given a clean bill of health from our vets since.
Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
