Lucy

We have recently welcomed Lucy into Shepherd's Lantern Rescue.

Lucy is a resilient and affectionate young girl ready to find her forever home. After enduring a challenging past where she was confined to a concrete slab with a heavy padlock and chain around her neck, under the love and guidance of her foster family, Lucy has blossomed into a sweet, gentle and intelligent friend.

Lucy has learned how to play and developed quite a cheeky side, delighting in stealing socks and engaging in spirited games of tug-o- war with her foster fur sister (who is a large wolfhound cross). Her quick learning ability makes her a joy to train and she is always eager to please.

Lucy would thrive in a loving and patient environment where she can share her boundless affection with her family who will help her overcome any fears from her past.

We would love for Lucy to have a fur brother or sister so she can continue on her journey to learning how to be a happy and fun loving little dog.

She is showing interest in her foster family's chickens so may be best not to tempt that too much and have a bird free household.
