Meet Ringo, a strikingly handsome and intelligent Kelpie cross born in August 2019.

With his agile movement and energetic spirit, Ringo is a lively companion who never fails to bring joy to every situation. His friendly demeanor is evident with every big tail wag and warm-hearted hello to everyone he meets.

A natural enthusiast for play, Ringo thrives on engaging games with his handler. As a Kelpie, he requires a large secure yard or property to satisfy his need for mental stimulation and physical activity.

His insatiable curiosity and love for the outdoors make him an excellent candidate for someone who enjoys hiking, exercising or exploring. Ringo has a tendency to pull if he picks up on a scent, however he does respond well to lead pressure correction.

Treats are the way to Ringo’s heart, and he gently takes them as a means to focus during training. A quick learner, he knows basic commands such as "sit" and shows great promise for more advanced training.

Ringo is confident and outgoing, eager to form friendships with fellow canines. While he enjoys their company, he is also content to explore his surroundings independently. It's important to note that Ringo is not suitable for a home with cats.

Ringo is located at our Charmhaven Shelter and his $500 adoption fee covers microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, current vaccination, flea and worming treatments 🐾
