About Poppy
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Poppy sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Poppy is seeking a gentle, affectionate soul who thrives on love and companionship. She’s a certified cuddle bug, always ready to snuggle up and shower you with warmth. Whether it's curling up next to you on the couch or nestling in bed at night, Poppy believes the best place in the world is right by your side.
Her days are filled with simple joys—lounging in the sunshine on the back deck, keeping a watchful eye on the world through the window, and indulging in her absolute favorite pastime: cuddles! She’s got a bit of a mischievous side too—she’s mastered the art of opening plantation shutters just to keep tabs on the neighborhood (someone’s got to do it!).
Poppy would be happiest in a calm, adult-only home where her humans are around most of the time, or where she has the company of a fellow feline friend. She enjoys outdoor access but likes the comfort of knowing she can dart back inside if needed. A peaceful environment, plenty of love, and maybe a cozy window bed for prime street-watching would make her purr with delight.

Medical notes
Poppy is currently taking short term medication to support her stress levels while living with young children. With the ideal environment and TLC from her guardians she will not require medication.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
