Aura

Meet the beautiful Aura. We are looking for a foster-to-adopt for this deserving girl who is a one-year-old Shepherd mix.
Aura came to us as a surrender and has proven herself a great companion to resident dogs and cats, as well as being a A-grade snuggler. Aura's previous foster carers love her to bits.
Her carers love her so much that they have funded her to do a three-week board and train at Kip to help Aura prepare for the wide world, as despite being fantastic with resident pets, she had dog reactivity outside the house. Since being at Kip her progress has been nothing short of amazing! The video of her being calm so close to a 'new' dog shows how much she has progressed.
What Aura needs is a foster/adopter that it happy to continue with the training foundation and structure that has started with Kip. The foster will get a two-hour training session with the Kip trainers at handover, ongoing support from Kip, access to their on-line training materials to prep for her stay and all the support FFAR provides for every animal in our care. An older or calm medium-sized resident dog would also be a real plus.
Aura needs a placement from Monday April 7th. She has amazed us with her progress and needs the help of one of our valued community to help her towards her forever home.
Please give this great girl some consideration as she is going to make a wonderful companion to some lucky family.
