About Robbie
Meet Robbie!
Like any Harrier, Robbie's nose is everything! This good boy loves a long walk where he can sniff everything in his neighbourhood, he will take a full report of scents, and check them daily! Robbie's nose also often leads him to food, he is very treat motivated and learns super quickly! Robbie would love his new family to continue with his force-free training at home.
Robbie had a wonderful time in foster, he found his love of toys, carrying them around the house with him everywhere he goes, and more importantly, his love of people! Loyal, affectionate, and incredibly clever, this boy would be an amazing addition to your family. He would prefer his home to be adults only or have children at least 12 years old.
Robbie has not yet learned that he is safe and okay without his humans around, so we strongly suggest further training to work on his independance skills, he will thrive with lots of mental stimulation, especially with treats involved, but a family who is home more often than not will be a huge plus for Robbie!
Although he loves his walks, Robbie is still working on his leash skills and his excitement around other dogs. He would be happy to share his new home with another K9 friend that he can lean on, but will need to meet them here at the shelter to get acquainted first.
Still a puppy at heart, Robbie is dreaming of the perfect home to settle in. Come down to the shelter and meet him today!
*Please note, if you have children or other dogs at home, they will need to join you in a meet and greet with Robbie.*
