About Lilly
ASSISTED REHOMING
L O V E L Y L I L Y
Lily is a 5-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Medium-haired cat that currently holds the title of “best cat in the world” (according to current cat–dad). This is a heartbreaking goodbye due to unforeseen personal circumstances.
Lily was adopted as a neglected kitten and has since been shown nothing but unconditional love. She is intelligent, kind, confident, and has an extremely calming personality. Not to mention, she’s unbelievably beautiful. Lily is fantastic with both kids and adults.
Lily is equal parts affectionate and adventurous. She is completely independent and requires the ability to roam freely, however, craves nothing more than relaxing and being smothered in cuddles. Lily is approximately 50/50 indoor–outdoor.
Lily has always been an “only child”, and although social with other animals, would benefit from continuing to be an only pet. Lily maintains firm boundaries yet has maternal instincts, so she might potentially integrate with a family that has young kittens or a much older cat.
Lily would best suit a farm or edge-of-town environment but has lived in quiet suburbia all of her life. She does not have a strong urge to hunt, but occasionally brings mice as presents.
Please be mindful that Lily takes a little while to acclimatise to new surroundings. She can be shy and reserved at first but becomes extremely confident/comfortable once given the time and space to feel safe.
Lily is desexed, microchipped and recently had a vaccination (only one since kittenhood). Lily will need a booster vaccination in a months time.
Lily is looking for a loving and stable home. We are purely assisting Lily's current owner to try and find her a suitable home.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
