About Archie
Archie can sometimes be a bit shy around new people, but once he realises you're friendly, he is super friendly and cuddly. He loves being around his humans. You look down and he's there, weaving around your ankles. He loves to have a chat and if you talk to him, he'll talk back to you.
He loves to be picked up and cuddled. He purrs and purrs when he's in your arms. He'd stay in your arms forever if you let him!
He's had a few adoption trials in homes with other cats, and for some reason the other cats don't seem to like him. Maybe in cat land he has an annoying face or something! So we think a home where he's the only cat would probably be best for him. We just want his next home to be his forever home.
Archie would love a home where there is a human he can really bond with and hang around. He loves hanging out with his people.
Could this stunning boy be the cat for you?

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
