Toast is a shy but sweet Golden Retriever who is looking for a calm and quiet forever home where she can truly feel safe. Coming from a difficult background, Toast has some complex behaviour needs and is searching for a dog-savvy owner who can offer her the patience, understanding, and gentle guidance she needs to thrive.

Toast MUST go home with a confident, social dog companion to help show her the ropes and build her confidence. Toast is not suited to apartment living and will need a secure yard of her own where she can relax and explore at her own pace. Due to her background and sensitivities, she is also not suitable for a home with cats.

With time, care, and the right environment, Toast has so much love to give. If you're an experienced dog owner with a quiet home and a kind heart, Toast could be the perfect new addition to your family.

If you are looking for a pair of goldies, Toast would be more than happy to be adopted with her friend Butter as they are happily sharing their foster home together. However, it is not a necessity for these girls to be adopted together.
