About Benson
Benson is a gentle, sweet-natured Cavalier boy with a soft, kind personality that’s just beginning to shine. Incredibly handsome with a face that will melt your heart, Benson is a loyal and affectionate fellow who can be a little shy at first—but once he feels safe, he quickly warms up and shows his generous loving nature.
With his calm temperament, Benson would make a wonderful therapy dog and has many years of love ahead.
Weighing approximately 7kg, Benson is a sturdy Blenheim chap who’d do well in a peaceful home—whether with an individual or a family. He thrives when someone is around often or when he has another gentle dog for company. He’s been working on basic obedience training (sit, stay, walking on a leash, recall) and is making great progress in his foster home.
Benson is friendly and sociable with dogs of all sizes, and he’s very kind and reliable with children. Although we’re unsure how he would react to cats, his calm and trainable nature suggests he could adapt with time and patience.
Due to limited opportunities in his previous home, Benson is still building his confidence and learning basic obedience skills. He’s been working on sit, walking on a leash, and recall- making great progress in his foster home. Ongoing positive reinforcement training is recommended in his new home to help him blossom even further.
He’s mostly toilet trained but still needs regular opportunities to go outside to avoid accidents. Benson is used to both indoor and outdoor environments and feels secure sleeping in a crate at night.
His coat is fine and low-maintenance, with just the occasional brush or a summer groom needed. You can also opt for a shorter clip if that’s your preference.
Benson would be the perfect addition to a quiet, loving home where he can receive the gentle care and affection he truly deserves.

We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in lots of cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
