About Bowie
Hiya! I’m Bowie! Let me introduce myself…
I somehow made it to the pound, timid and unsure about what the future might hold. But a foster family decided to take me in and boy, I’m so glad to be outta there!
I am a very affectionate and curious Kelpie boy with a lot of love to give! My golly gosh, I think my favourite thing in the world is lots of cuddles from my foster parents… I just can’t get enough!
I am proud to say that even though I may not be an adult doggo yet, I am a natural when it comes to recall and following my humans wherever they go. I’m still trying to find my confidence when going for leashed walks. Sometimes other dogs barking at me through fences scares me. But I am sure with more training, I’ll be the best mate to go on your adventures with!
I enjoy being around other friendly dogs and like to chase while everyone else plays fetch. This gets me super excited because my working dog instincts really kick in.
When it comes time to chilling out.. I’m pretty good at that too! I would love a home that I could sit inside and watch TV with my family on the couch while enjoying belly rubs.
I also live with chickens and a horse and have learnt to be respectful of them. My foster mum says chickens are friends, not toys or food!
When it comes to actual food time, man I love a good meal! Food is probably my next favourite thing after cuddles.
I am toilet trained, so long as my family lets me out right before bed and first thing in the morn!
I look forward to finding my furever family, so apply to meet me today, especially if you have good fencing to keep me safe, another active dog for me to hang with and space for us to play.
