Izzy is a beautiful domestic short hair torbie (a mix of tabby and tortoiseshell) with a tuxedo coat and a ridiculously cute face. Izzy came into the care of Cat People of Melbourne when her previous owner had to make the difficult decision to rehome her. Now, she’s ready for her next chapter!

Izzy is affectionate, playful, and full of personality. She’ll win your heart with her sweet chirps, gentle headbutts, and love of snuggles. While she might be a little shy at first, once she feels safe, she blossoms into a loving, loyal companion.

Izzy would thrive in a quiet home with adults or older children (12+) She's currently living with other cats and a small dog and is very respectful of her furry housemates. She would thrive to be your only cat but with slow introductions, she could happily share her home with another friendly cat or a cat-savvy dog.
Izzy is also a smart little cookie! She’ll invite you to play by giving you a look, then lead you right to her toys—it's the cutest thing. She enjoys bird-watching, cozy naps, and snuggling up beside you when she's ready for affection.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
