About Maya
Meet Maya, a well-behaved blue female English Staffy mix, who'd be a great match for anyone looking for a loyal and lively canine companion. She was born on 3 October 2024 and weighed 16.7 kgs on 3 March 2025.
(Thankfully, she has put on weight since the first round of photos were taken. In the more recent photos, her coat looks brown, not blue, but the earlier photos are a more accurate reflection of coat colour.)
Deeply affectionate by nature, Maya will thrive in a household where she is an integral part of the human family. Her gentle and playful demeanor will make her an excellent companion for adults and older children.
An enthusiastic puppy, Maya can run like the wind and has boundless energy. She is very dog-friendly and loves to socialise with her own kind. However, she is fascinated by creatures that run, so is not compatible with cats or wildlife.
She has excellent recall, especially if motivated by the prospect of a yummy treat.
She is making progress with walking on a lead but still needs more practice and instruction as her excitement sometimes makes her pull.
Maya's new home will have plenty of space to run, play, and explore. She would love to have a compatible canine buddy who is also interested in backyard antics. Her new family will have good fencing and be ready to lavish her with love and attention.
She's an intelligent dog who enjoys mental challenges and activities that keep her mind sharp, so interactive games will spark her interest.
All in all, Maya is a delightful blend of playful energy, loyalty, and affection. If you can offer a loving home with lots of companionship and stimulation, you'll find that Maya will not be just a pet but a cherished member of your household.
