About Mike
Although mostly deaf and the stubbornness of a typical bulldog, Mike is one of the sweetest guys you will come across. He will be turning 10 in May.
Mike's likes include - food, car rides, paddling in the shallow creek, sleeping, sun baking, lounging on velvet couches, being no more than six inches away from his foster Dad 24/7.
Mike does have some dislikes - being away from his foster Dad, walks on a lead, anything Dad wants.
Mike is very chill, no aggression to dogs or humans, unknown with cats.
Mike's perfect forever home will have a human closeby and a canine friend (female) in residence to play with and curl up beside.
Mike is currently fostered in Wangaratta VIC. Ideally he goes to a foster or forever home in Melbourne, Canberra could be easily considered too due to proximity.

Medical notes
Mike has had a number of surgeries while in the rescue's care. Including total ear canal ablation in one ear. The other ear does have long term damage but is being managed.
Mike does need care specific for bulldogs in relation to skin, ears, good quality diet, managing interdigital cysts if/when they flare up.

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
