About Geralt Of Purrera
Poor Geralt of Purrera was left to fend for himself on the streets after being given away by the person who originally adopted him as a kitten. Nobody came looking for him. He was finally rescued and came into care with Cat People of Melbourne, scarred by neglect and abandonment but still holding out hope that life could be good again.
Geralt is an absolutely stunning champagne ginger short-haired boy with extra plush fur and a big, muscular frame. His fur is so soft and touchable that you won’t need plush toys in your home—he’s one giant, huggable plush lion himself. Despite his rough past, Geralt is affectionate, warm, and regal. He’s happiest when he’s welcomed onto the bed with his foster carer, where he stretches out comfortably and snoozes the night away, finally part of a family pride again.
Geralt is looking for a quiet, cat-savvy home where he can continue to build trust and feel safe. He is okay with other cats but doesn’t want them in his face—he’s happiest when everyone respects each other’s space. He may be suitable for a calm, cat-friendly dog with slow introductions. He would prefer a home without young children but could live happily with respectful teens aged 12+. His new humans must commit to brushing him daily and providing an extra-large, open-top litter tray (he’s too big for a covered tray!). Geralt doesn’t need to be adopted with another cat but does need humans who understand that he’s a big-hearted, sensitive boy who’s been through a lot.
Geralt is a gentle giant with the heart of a lion and the soul of a poet. He can be demanding at mealtimes (who can blame him after fending for himself?), will announce when dinner is due, and is terrified of thunderstorms. But once you win his trust, you’ll have the most magnificent, loyal companion. This kingly boy is ready to rule your heart — is it you he’s been waiting for? Come and meet Geralt of Purrera in person at PetStock 65-79 Moray Street, South Melbourne (convenient customer parking at rear of of shop) and you can fill out an application in store or submit an enquiry here!
Geralt of Purrera is a healthy, raw/high-quality fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #953010004734676, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!
