About Marcy
Marcy is an intelligent, playful, very affectionate puppy once she feels safe and comfortable although she can be a bit mouthy but working on this issue and has a stubborn side as with most dachshunds. She can take a few days to warm to new people but once she does she forms strong bonds.
Personality Highlights
Sleeps well throughout the night and will put herself to bed during the day for a nap with her favourite puppet toy.
Marcy would do well with another small dog for company as she can have some separation anxiety issues.
Current Training Progress
 House Training: Work in progress but does follow the lead of her older foster sister.
 Lead Skills: Dislikes wearing a collar and will require a harness – work in progress.
 Social Skills: Initially cautious but warms up once she feels confident.
Daily Care
 Diet: Supercoat Puppy Dry and quality puppy wet. Not a fan of water but enjoys puppy milk.
 Exercise: Enjoys active playtime
 Sleep: Settles well through the night and sleeps in own bed
 Behaviour: No food or toy aggression, although supervision is required if feeding with another dog.
