**Seeking special extra caring home***
Tragically Zena ended up in the pound after her owner passed away and there was no one to take care of her. Zena is a perfect mix of German Shepherd and Labrador, with the very best of both breeds shining through her. If you know the German Shepherd breed you know they are loyal to a fault, so when Zena’s owner was gone she became so sad and worried she suffered some health problems. This is something we will discuss at length with a suitable adopter as her transition to a new home will need to be very carefully managed to help her adjust.
Zena is a happy girl who loves to have her people around her. She is a loving companion, calm and gentle but also loves to have a good run around off lead. She gets extra excited when going in the car and loves to go for a drive.

Zena is looking for a home with people who are home more often than not. Someone who enjoys a good walk. Where she can come in the house (especially during thunderstorms!) but also have a nice outside yard to relax in. Zena needs regular brushing and someone who won’t fall for those beautiful puppy dog eyes and make sure she stays at a healthy weight with a good diet and exercise.

Our adoption process includes a trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $250 assists to cover the costs of vet work such as, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, vet check, blood tests and equipment.
