About Billy
Introducing Billy – a bundle of love. This delightful little kelpie boy has been melting hearts left right and centre while in foster care and is ready to spread the joy in his forever home.
Billy has all the best puppy traits – he’s curious and confident, using his nose to happily investigate all the exciting new things in the world. He’s clever and eager to please – his basic manners are coming on extremely well, he’s made a great start to toilet training, and he picked up crate training super fast meaning it’s been easy to help him find a good balance between play/excitement and sleep which means he’s well on the way to having a good off switch. Billy is just getting used to walking on a lead but given his eagerness to please, he’s bound to catch on quickly.
Billy has loved playing with the resident dog as well as the three teenagers in the house. He would be happy to go to a home with another dog but would also be happy as an only dog if his humans had lots of time to play and cuddle with him. The cuddles are a must – Billy will often pass up play with another dog for a cuddle on the nearest human lap.
Billy will need a home experienced with working dog breeds who can continue his training, provide him with lots of enrichment and include him in an active family life.
If this sounds like you, please apply.
Billy is located in VIC.

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
