Meet Skye – A Beautiful, Energetic Pup Looking for Her Forever Home!
Skye is a gorgeous young dog with a heart full of love and energy!
Unfortunately, her current owners are unable to provide her with the
time and attention she truly deserves, so she's now looking for a family
who can give her the time and training she needs to blossom into the
perfect companion.
What makes Skye special?
House trained: Skye is already comfortable and reliable in the home,
making her a great addition to any household.
Great with other dogs: She gets along well with other dogs and loves
having doggie friends to play with!
Smart & beautiful: Skye is an intelligent pup who loves learning. With
the right attention and training, she'll continue to grow into a
well-mannered, wonderful dog.
Typical puppy energy: Skye is full of life and has plenty of energy to
burn! She's a typical young dog, which means she needs outlets for her
energy and guidance to grow into her best self. She's still learning but
has so much potential!
What does Skye need?
Skye would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of physical and
mental stimulation. A family who is ready to work on training her and
giving her the structure she needs will see her develop into a fantastic
dog. She's understandably still learning and may have some puppy
behaviours, like digging, due to a lack of stimulation. But with time,
patience, and the right environment, these behaviours will improve. She
is untested with cats.
The ideal home for Skye:
A family who is committed to spending time with her, offering her
regular exercise, and working on training her. Skye is a beautiful,
smart girl who just needs the right environment to thrive. Skye would
suit a home with a well-mannered family dog to play with and learn from.
If you're ready to give Skye the attention, love, and training she
needs, she'll reward you with a lifetime of happiness, loyalty, and fun.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped,
wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals,
surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm
testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If
a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Weight: 36kg.
Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
