Max is a sweet, affectionate, and sensitive young man who thrives in a calm, structured environment. He can be a bit worried and avoidant with close handling, so any new interactions should be slow and gentle, using high-value treats for positive reinforcement. Max is very gentle with toys, often picking them up and bringing them to you, showing his playful side. He enjoys gentle pats and affection but needs time to feel comfortable. A calm home with routine will help him settle and feel safe. Crate training is recommended, giving him a secure space when feeling overwhelmed. Max would do best with calm and respectful older children who understand his gentle nature and can provide him with the patience and care he needs.
Once comfortable , Max can be an energetic and excitable lad who is sure to keep you entertained. As an intelligent working breed, Max will need a family who can dedicate time to provide him with mental stimulation through enrichment, training, play and physical exercise.
