About Ebony STA013561
Meet Ebony, a truly enchanting lady with a beautiful, sleek black coat and the most captivating green eyes you'll ever see. Beneath her stunning exterior lies a heart brimming with sweetness and gentle grace, just waiting for the right person to unlock her full potential.
Ebony is incredibly shy, preferring her own company or that of a trusted human. Her playful side comes out when nobody is watching, and she'll delight in solitary playtime antics, revealing a curious and inquisitive spirit. She adores the comfort and security of hiding under her blankets, where she can watch the world from a cozy and safe haven. Quiet and calm spaces are her happy places, making her an ideal addition to a serene home environment, without the hustle and bustle of children or canines.
Winning Ebony's trust requires patience and understanding, as she'll thrive best in a home that offers her space and love without pressure. With a slow and steady approach, you'll see the real Ebony emerge, appreciating and encouraging her at her own pace. In return, you'll be rewarded with the companionship of a truly unique and endearing young lady, whose affection will be all the more special for having earned it. If you're seeking a gentle companion to share a quiet life with, Ebony may be the perfect match for you.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
