About Sir Thomas The 5th
Allow me to introduce you to Sir Thomas, the noble and mighty one-year-old feline who is ready to rule over your home with grace and ease. Like the kings and queens of Wakanda, Sir Thomas possesses the strength of a panther and the heart of a true leader. He is not just a cat; he is a force, smooth and swift, but always humble in his approach to life.
From the moment you lay eyes on him, you will feel the wisdom and the calm demeanor of one who understands the ways of the world. He is easygoing, social, and welcoming, never one to shy away from a moment of companionship. Whether you're relaxing on your throne (or couch), or engaging in a long battle with the day's demands, Sir Thomas will be by your side, a steadfast companion, with his silky black coat gleaming like the midnight sky.
His gentle nature makes him the ideal ally for families, individuals, and all those who walk the path of peace. Like T'Challa, Sir Thomas knows how to lead without the need for force, commanding attention simply by being himself-graceful, gentle, and strong.
So, do not wait. Let this magnificent creature into your life and witness how Sir Thomas, the cat of royalty, will enrich your days. He will not only be a pet, but a true friend, a companion who moves in the shadows yet brings light into your world. The throne room is ready for him. Is your heart prepared to welcome this king?
Please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au to book a meet and greet with Sir Thomas. Due to the high volume of emails received, Inquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
