About Valerie STA013003
Valerie is a gentle soul with a heart ready to embrace new beginnings. Once a shy stray, she has slowly begun to discover the comfort and warmth that come from kind human interactions. With each whisper of affection, Valerie begins to understand that humans can indeed be trusted.
Nothing brings Valerie more joy than a gentle chin scratch or a soft pat; she relishes those tender moments and may even lean in for more. Her blanket is her fortress, a cozy safe haven where she finds peace and security. While she’s still on her journey toward full trust, Valerie shows great potential for blooming into a loving and loyal companion.
She would thrive in a quiet home with a caring and patient cat-savvy owner who can provide her with a structured routine and a steady atmosphere. Valerie would do best in a household without children or dogs. A tranquil environment will allow her to feel secure and gradually open her heart to the love she truly deserves.
If you're willing to invest time and patience and can offer Valerie the nurturing and understanding she needs, you'll be rewarded with a deeply rewarding and heartwarming relationship as she learns to trust and adore her special human.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
