🎹🎼 INTRODUCING MOZART 🎼🎹

Nature
Mozart is a confident void with a purr that can be heard clear across the room. Yes, he’s a void because other than a small patch on his belly, he is all black. But, he’s also a void for a few other reasons – he’s too laid back to be a house panther (although given his current size he’s likely to be big enough to be one), and treats and time just disappear when he’s around.

He is a giant cuddle bug who loves to climb into your lap for some love. He also loves to be cradled like a baby and will fall asleep purring when you do.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Mozart has mainly met grown ups, a few teenagers and children. He has been eager to play with them all, and is getting pretty good at remembering to be gentle when he plays (both with his teeth and his claws).

Mozart has only ever met his littermates and mum up close, but he has seen other cats in his foster home and is quite keen to meet them, not shying away when they hiss or growl at him.

There’s also a 40kg dog in his foster home Mozart is more cautious about meeting. Given how friendly and confident he is, with appropriate introductions Mozart is sure to be best friends with any fur siblings in no time!

Likes / Dislikes
Mozart uses his litter tray like a pro, although he does sometimes like to swim in it, which can make a mess.

While he may not eat it as soon as it gets put down, his size makes it pretty clear that Mozart likes his food, with wet morning and night and bickies to snack on in between. He’s also never been offered a treat he hasn’t liked, and he has no such hesitation about eating them as quickly as possible.

Mozart can still be a little skittish around loud noises at times, but it is unpredictable what will set him off. He also has not met the urban legend that he has heard of called a vacuum cleaner.

My PURR-fect home would be with someone for him to play, explore and chill with – either feline or canine, just so long as they can keep up with him. It would also have a hooman that he could go to when he was ready to snuggle and who had plenty of treats to spoil him with. Having said that, as he’s so relaxed and self assured, he’d be sure to get along almost anywhere.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Mozart please come and meet him at Better Pets & Gardens Kelmscott this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. He will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.

Medical Notes: Mozart had Ringworm, a common fungal infection, and cat flu, a respiratory infection. He was treated for both and given the all clear by the vet.
