🐾 Meet Flick 🐾🐶

Little Miss Flick is an outgoing girl who approaches everything new with curiosity and confidence.

She loves to climb—she very quickly figured out how to scale her pen and make her way onto the lounge! Flick enjoys a good wrestle with her brother, but she’s also shown a great deal of respect for our older dog, which speaks to her social smarts.

After playtime, she’s all about cuddles. Flick will curl up right on your lap or snuggle into your chest for a nap, and she especially loves burrowing under the bed covers for a cozy snooze.

She’s been very well-behaved when left indoors on her own. We’ve kept most things out of reach, but she did manage to team up with her brother to shred a tissue box—so a little cheeky mischief is definitely part of her charm!

Flick is starting to pick up a few basic commands, especially when chicken is involved—her all-time favourite treat!

While she hasn’t explored the outdoors yet, she gets very curious whenever the back door is open.

She’s also had a few interactions with our 4-year-old niece. Flick is a little excitable at first, but she settles down quickly and adjusts well.

Flick came to us from the Shire of Ashburton with a few bare patches from ringworm, but those have fully healed and her coat is growing back beautifully. She also has a small umbilical hernia, which our vet isn’t concerned about and can be addressed during her desexing.

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
