Souffle

Soufflé may be small in size, but he has a big personality typical of his Chihuahua heritage. He's a social little guy who enjoys meeting other dogs, though he can come on a bit strong at first-he just likes to make sure everyone knows he's in charge! With ongoing socialisation, he'll continue to be a great canine companion. He's a bit unsure about cats, but with slow introductions and supervision, he could learn to coexist peacefully.

Initially a little timid with handling, Soufflé quickly reveals his sweet and affectionate side. Once he trusts you, he's all about the cuddles! He's food-motivated and eager to learn, already knowing how to sit and stay engaged in training. He's still working on his leash manners but enjoys his walks and loves to run around and play with his toys.

Soufflé would thrive in an apartment setting (or house with a yard) and could be a good fit for a home with respectful children who understand his small size. He has shown no major separation concerns here at the shelter and is an adaptable little dog who just needs a family willing to continue his socialization and training.
