Meet Rusty – Your Gentle & Loyal Shadow
Looking for a big-hearted, teddy bear of a dog to fill your home with love and laughter? Rusty might just be your perfect match. This gentle, goofy cuddle bug is the definition of loyal — he’ll happily be your shadow, following you from room to room, just to be near you.
Crate trained and incredibly chilled out at home, Rusty prefers being an indoor dog who thrives on companionship. He is good with kids, is gentle in nature, and has a moderate energy level that makes him just as happy going for a walk as he is snuggling on the couch.
He’s making fantastic progress on lead training and is eager to keep learning with you. He’s smart, easily trainable, and loves to please. Rusty would do best in a home where people are around more often, as he truly bonds with his humans and just wants to be part of the family.
He gets on well with other dogs and loves to go out for walks around the neighbourhood. Everyday he grows with confidence. Don’t be fooled by his calm demeanour he’s still a big goofy puppy at heart and does love to play every now and then. He loves tug-o-war but his favourite thing to do would be sitting on your lap, yes he thinks he’s a lapdog.

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
Due to an anticipated high volume of applications the adoption process is outlined below:
1. You must complete our Adoption Application Form by following the link to our website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html NOT THE PET RESCUE ENQUIRY BUTTON
2. Include as much information as possible and it is never a case of "first in best dressed" when we are choosing the most appropriate new home. Matching an animal with a family is based on lifestyle, family members, attitudes to pet ownership and the personality of the pet.
3. Due to the number of applications we receive all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed we will either call you to discuss it further and possibly invite you to a meet and greet.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
