About Cindy Clawford
Requirements:
Must meet all family members
Kids (5yrs+)
Inside only
Meet Cindy Clawford,
Cindy isn’t just a cat - she’s a supermodel in fur, complete with elegance, charm, and just a touch of shyness. This sweet girl might play it coy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll confidently strut to her favourite bed, flop down, and soak up all the love and admiration she deserves.
Gentle and affectionate, Cindy is a perfect blend of playful curiosity and quiet companionship. She enjoys exploring her surroundings, engaging with you, and, most importantly, spending quality time with her humans. While she would thrive in any home, a calm and peaceful environment may suit her best.
If you’re an experienced cat owner looking for a loving and social feline friend, Cindy Clawford is ready to steal your heart.
Cindy is happy to meet kids aged 5 and up. This is simply due to her shy nature. She tolerates being picked up, carried, and cuddled, enjoys pats all over, and especially loves scratches behind her ears and under her chin.
As we cannot test in this environment, we are not sure if Cindy will be ok to live with dogs. This would be up to the discretion of her new owners.
As for cats, Cindy previously lived with another cat. In fact, she lived with her sister Catalie Portman - if and when introducing Cindy to another cat we suggest a slow & gradual introduction, over a few days, to give both cats the best chance at making friends.
We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Cindy is no different & will be too sensitive to be outdoors. If she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat she can be safe & sound & live her best life.
Cindy has a moderate energy levels and seems to enjoy all kinds of toys. She’s curious when introduced to something new, taking her time to sus it out, but quickly warms up and starts playing! What she truly loves, though, is rolling around while getting pats and scratches.
Cindy isn’t picky with her food - she happily eats whatever is offered. She’s also a quiet cat who doesn’t meow much, either.
Cindy always uses her litter tray without any issues, too.
Staff Comments: Cindy will be a wonderful addition to any home, though she may be a little nervous as she adjusts. She’ll need a patient and understanding owner to support her during this time. Beyond that, she’s a sweet girl who’s sure to bring love to her new family!

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
