Meet Dawn, a sweet and shy cat who is slowly gaining confidence each day. When she first arrived, Dawn was overwhelmed and scared, but she's come a long way and is growing in confidence daily! She now greets staff with a friendly, chatty nature and loves to bump her head and lean into gentle pets when she feels safe.

Dawn is looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to fully blossom into the affectionate companion she's meant to be. She will thrive in a quiet home and would do best in a home with older children who can understand and respect her body language. Once she's comfortable, Dawn will begin to venture out and show her affectionate side even more.

Dawn is social with other cats and may do well with a calm, cat-savvy dog if introductions are done carefully and monitored.
