About Josie
Josie has the most beautiful soul….extremely affectionate to her humans. Loves to interact with kids of all ages. Loves to play with her fur friends. All around, just the perfect puppy looking for her perfect home!
Walks great on lead, loves a cuddles and pats.
Can sit already on command, is now learning to sit and stay to wait for the command to eat.
Loves to chase the ball but still needs to learn to pick it up and bring it back.
Loves her zoomies, like all puppies! First thing in morning and usually late afternoon.
Doesn’t mind a shower or bath. Is still wary of the hose when watering.
She loves to play with anything so make sure you have lots of puppy things around and NOT your shoes…..
She has learned to use the doggy door, and is only doing accidents inside sometimes now. Mostly when its dark outside and she has gotten up when no one else is up to make it safe.
Although she is full of fur, it doesn’t seem to want to leave her body like other fluffy breeds so less vacuuming!
Currently sleeps in bed with us and absolutely loves to snuggle right up close but will also stay on her bed if told too. Tried to crate train briefly but she was too stressed by it so stopped.
Josie loves to just sit with you on the lounge for TV time or just to chill. Just loves a cuddle whenever she can get one. But doesn’t forcefully ask for one. Just sits and waits…..Such a gentle soul…..she will be a hard one for us to let go due to her beautiful nature but we must!

Adoption details
- You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the animal of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos of your home. Please also include photos of your fencing .
- A meet and greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a yard check, to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - we understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
- Payment of the adoption fee is made in one full payment. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records. Please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
- Once the 14 day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted to council and the adoption is officially finalised.
- For interstate adoptions- The adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting. We will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport costs including flights, will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
- For cats, all adoptions take place at PETstock Tuggerah unless the profile states otherwise.
