About Mouse
Introducing Mouse, an endearing 3-year-old long-haired Chihuahua and Maltese mix who's ready to find her perfect new family. With her sweet demeanor, Mouse has a charming personality that shines as she builds confidence in her surroundings. While she may approach new situations with a touch of nervousness, give her some time to adjust, and you'll uncover her playful and lively spirit.
Mouse truly shines in a home with a secure, enclosed back garden where she can run and let off steam, enjoying her own slice of paradise. Her ideal home would welcome another friendly dog, allowing for an instant connection and the opportunity to curl up together for companionship. She flourishes in these nurturing environments, where she can build strong bonds with both her canine friend and human family members.
A calm environment with family members who understand her needs, provide firm boundaries, and offer lots of love and support is what Mouse truly deserves. She can get anxious when left alone for too long, so she would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time to provide comfort and companionship.
Mouse is mostly house-trained with access to an open door but is still mastering the art of using a doggy door. Because of her tendency to wander without recall, Mouse is best suited to environments that are fully fenced and safe. Her cautious nature makes her less suitable for outings to open spaces like dog parks or beaches unless they are securely fenced.
With patience, understanding, and plenty of affection, Mouse has so much love to give and eagerly awaits the opportunity to become a cherished member of a caring family. If you think you can offer Mouse the enriched life she deserves, she would make a delightful addition to your home.

We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $50 for admin costs. We also require that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime (without a refund) for us to rehome.
