About Milo
FOSTER TO ADOPT
Foster Home Needed for Sweet Milo
Milo arrived nameless into our care and at his vet check we received the heart breaking news he was heart worm positive , we didn’t save him from a rural pound euthanasia list to not give him a second chance at life - ,
What we do know is this is a vital reminder for all dog owners:
Please get your dogs tested before starting preventatives, and always keep them up to date.
We are committed to doing everything we can for Milo, but we cannot begin his treatment until he has a suitable foster home.
Here’s what Milo needs:
• A quiet, stress-free environment (kennels are too overwhelming for him).
• A home with no female undesexed dogs (he is not desexed).
• Ideally no other dogs, but a calm, desexed dog may be okay.
• No exercise during treatment – strict rest is crucial.
• He’s good with kids, so a family home could work too.
Our rescue will cover all vet costs, and we can assist with transport to appointments if needed. We just need a safe, calm space where he can rest and recover.
Milo is a mixed breed , full of love and just needs a second chance.
If you think you could open your heart and home to this boy during his recovery, please get in touch with us today.
PLEASE help us give Milo the peaceful healing space he deserves.
Medical notes
Heart worm - we will cover all costs to get him through this .
Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
*Same gender adoptions will not be considered. Same sex aggression is something at Promising Paws we will avoid. *
Supporting documents required ;
Real estate approval or home own proof .
