Tyr – Aging Like a Fine Wine (and Drinking Like a Champion!)

Tyr is built like a bodybuilder, with a head like a cement block, atop a massively muscular body. Don’t let his size fool you though--this big, lovable lug is a total sweetheart!

Weighing in at 50kg+, this Mastiff x Catahoula Leopard Dog is dog-friendly, people-friendly, and walks well on lead. His sheer size can be a little intimidating to other dogs, but he means no harm—he’s all about good times and belly rubs.

He hasn’t been tested with cats, but he's living peacefully around chickens at his current home. He's pretty well trained, but our volunteer trainer will be working with him, and would be happy to discuss this with any potential adopter. He's currently not yet de-sexed, but will be by the time he is adopted.

Oh, and about his hydration habits… One day, his owner came home to find he had drained the toilet completely dry, leaving only slobber streaks as evidence. (Don’t worry, he does have a water bowl—he just likes to keep life interesting!)
