About June
June
Raced as: Miss Blue Fancy
This beautiful blue girl is an absolute sweetheart!
She loves to let her human know that she loves having them around by following you around the house, hanging out or finding a comfy spot near by to lay and watch you while she dozes off. Or coming up for a cuddle and to see what you are doing when she sees you after her nap.
June loves a routine but is also learning to go with the flow the more she adjusts to retired life. It's not uncommon to wake up to a Greyhound nose staring at you from the side of your bed In the morning 'because breakfast is her favourite part of the day' and she's missed seeing you all night but she's also starting to enjoy the lazy side of retired life and realising that sleep ins are also pretty good and happy to curl up by the bed for a bit more sleep if you aren't ready.
June currently has a (smaller breed)foster brother who likes to play and she has done really well at learning her size, to be a bit gentler with him but she definitely loves a good play, roughing him up, playing chasey and hide and seek with him and would be suited to another dog companion who doesn't mind a good play.
She LOVES her toys, the more squeaky or chewy they are the better. She loves a good play or Zoomie and often her playful inner puppy side shines through.
She hasn't had any toilet accidents since being in foster care. The back door is often left open but she's also learning to wait next to it if it's not open until a human notices her to let her out.
She has such good food manners, patiently waits for her food.
She's been doing well on her lead but can become excitable in public when standing still and theres lots of things explore. She would do well with some regular walks.
June is just the sweetest girl.
A big bundle of love with a scoop of playful energy and a pinch of quirky personality, she is sure to make for the most beautiful companion.

All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status.
