About Malcolm
Meet Malcolm – A Gentle Soul With a Splash of Fun
Malcolm is a gentle, easy-going boy who’s ready to win over your heart with his calm nature and sweet quirks. He loves the company of most dogs, both male and female, as long as they’re of similar size, making him a wonderful companion for a friendly four-legged mate.
This boy has a special love for water – you’ll often find him happily splashing in his trough just to get wet! Whether it’s cooling off or just enjoying the moment, Malcolm brings joy to the simple things in life.
Malcolm also adores sniff walks, taking in the world around him at your side and alongside his doggie friends. He’s a steady walking companion who will happily match your pace.
Smart and well-mannered, Malcolm knows his basics – sit, on your bed, and wait until signalled to eat. And when it comes to mealtime, his patience is as endearing as his personality… he’ll sit quietly blowing little bubbles out the sides of his mouth while waiting for your cue.
If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle-hearted friend with a playful streak and the ability to make you smile every day, Malcolm is your boy. Malcolm will need a committed owner with a stable home environment.
He is not suited to cats or pet birds and hasn't been tested with pocket pets.
His ideal family will appreciate the loyalty and companionship that the German Shepherd breed are so ready to provide.
Malcolm is currently available for adoption in NSW, Queensland and Victoria. If you're interested in making him a cherished member of your family, you'll need to drive with your loved ones to meet him. Should he, for any reason, not be the perfect fit for your family, you would be responsible for either bringing him back to Kempsey or helping us rehome him from your home.

Adoption details
To apply for a dog you can either click on the Enquire about the dog and we will send you an application form, or you can go to our website and complete an online form.

We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
