About Turtle
Please consider adopting me - Our special boy Turtle needs a home. His adoption fee has been lowered to $50 to help him.

This gorgeous boy was surrendered to the pound with his brother by his family - the staff said the children were jumping on the carrier and the cats were clearly distressed and terrified.
When I met Turtle and Sylvester they were cuddled up together on the top of a cat tower - each others comfort and their bond was clear. I knew they had to come out of there and find a beautiful home together.
Sadly, Sylvester became unwell. We hoped he would recover, but sadly was diagnosed with FIP and despite being hospitalised passed at the vet. FIP is such a cruel disease and takes many victims - there are cures and we have had a lot of success in the past, but our boy just didn't have the strength to fight. So unfair.
The heart break is that he left his beautiful brother alone in this world. Turtle misses his friend and needs a home with people who are home often who can give him the love he needs. After everything he has been through he only deserves the best home.
Rescue is sometimes so unfair, this is not the outcome that we wanted for these two beautiful cats, but we are hoping to find Turtle his happily ever after.
Turtle is very friendly, social and loving! He is a snuggler, will keep you warm in winter and bond closely to you. He really is such a little dream boat who has so much love to share with someone special. Could you be the one to make his story a happy one?

Adoption details
If a member of the public is interested in adopting they will need to fill out an application form on our website. If approved, a phone interview will be conducted. If the interview is successful they are able to meet the animal and if all goes well adopt on the day.
