About Biscuit *On Trial*
Biscuit found himself out on the streets of Forest Lakes (Thornlie), A wonderful family who have rabbits themselves took him in and looked after him whilst a spot was found in our care. He was in reasonable condition, although it was clear he had dental issues. The team at The Unusual Pet Vets have looked after Biscuit, and luckily, it was found he only had front dental malocclusion; his other back teeth were fine! Biscuit had surgery to remove his front incisor teeth, and since then, he's been very happy and a lot more comfortable.
Biscuit is young (8 months), and since being in care, he's really come out of his shell and is beginning to learn to trust humans again. We've witnessed his first real flop, and it was everything! To see a bun go from off the streets to happy and content with some intensive TLC is really something.
Personality plus, Biscuit has the perfect combination of snuggly (on his terms), energetic, and silly with ridiculous zoomies, but yet he'll happily sit beside you for endless head pats and ear twirls....teeth purrrring included.
We've been working with Biscuit and his diet and find he isn't a picky eater and will explore any yummy option...especially basil from the garden! With his front teeth removed, he only needs his veggies and fruit cut to a manageable size, but he knows how to get it in his mouth pronto! He has a newfound appreciation and love for oaten hay and is often found munching away. He's very clean and litter-trained now too!
Biscuit is a mini lop X and is small to medium in size at 1.80kg. He has a white coat with light brown/apricot markings and beautiful brown eyes. Biscuit would thrive in a space that offers room for him to explore and play freely. He'll bound his way into your heart as he has with ours. His energy, charming personality, irresistible face and cheekiness will definitely sway you!
