About Huxley
Meet Huxley
This young man was adopted from us as a puppy but his owner has become unwell and is unable to care for him any longer. They were heartbroken with this decision.
Huxley is a 6 year old staffy x. He is a medium sized dog.
His owner describes him as a gentle boy. He's pretty relaxed and will often be found napping. He does have his moments of playfulness though and will play with his sister bella. He also loves toys, especially tug-a-war.
He can bark when he sees another dog or person on walks but this is out of interest and wanting to say hello.
He currently lives with a child and would suit a home with kids of any age. He can be a little bouncy to begin with out of excitement.
He'd happily be an only dog. He can live with another dog but he can be a big of a hog and steal the toys and attention.
He is looking for a foster or forever home!

Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
