About Buttons
Meet Buttons, a cattle dog cross with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. š¶š©µ Heās looking for a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and appreciated for the wonderful dog he is.

āļø Energy Level: Surprisingly laid-back for his breedācontent relaxing at home or enjoying a walk or some garden play
āļø Social Skills: Loves meeting new people and will alert you when someoneās around
āļø Independence: Happy to spend time on his own but adores snuggles too
Buttons knows how to sit, drop, shake and waits for the ok to eat his food. He is toilet and crate trained and walks impeccably on the lead.
He is all about LOVE, big dogs, little dogs, kids, you name it, he just loves everybody the minute he meets you.
He shows very little interest in cats, in fact he would prefer to keep away from them.
Buttons is the perfect mix of affectionate and independent, making him a great match for someone seeking a companion who enjoys both quiet moments and outdoor adventures.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the āmeet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
