About Blue
Meet Blue,
Blue is a sweet gentleman who came into care after his owner passed away.
Blue has been in care a little while now just while he got back into full health!
Blue being a Maine Coon is a big boy! He weighs just over 8kgs currently.
Blue spends most the day napping on the couch, bed or on the bottom shelf of the wardrobe.
But when the sun starts setting that's when Blue likes to come out and party!
Blue loves exploring the house, and especially loves scratching on the cat tower. A cat tower is a must in his new home! Although you'll need to make sure it's a good sturdy one!
Blue does like going outside, but can only go outside in a cat run. It also must have good shade due to his white coat and the risk of skin cancer.
Blue has lived with other cats and dogs. He can need a slow introduction but once used to the new animals has no issues co existing with them.
Blue LOVES a pat and a cuddle. He will headbutt you whenever he wants attention. He'll happily cuddle up on the couch with you while you're watching TV. He also thinks that snuggling in bed with his humans at night is the best place to be!
Blue would love to meet!
Please note Blue isn't available until after the 27th of March.
Medical notes
Blue has a Eosinophilic granuloma.
This is basically like a large mouth/lip ulcer.
It was very infected when he arrived.
It has since mostly healed but may have flair ups the rest of his life. He is currently on regular medication to keep this under control and may need to stay on this the rest of his life.
This can be discussed and explained more with potential new owners.
