About Bounce
Hi there! I'm Bounce, a male Australian Kelpie. I'm a high-energy fellow who loves being on the move and exploring new things. I'm looking for a human friend who can match my energy level and has an average work schedule, so we can spend lots of quality time together. I'm an eager learner and need daily opportunities to discover more about life and the world. If you're into teaching, I'd love to learn new tricks and commands! I have had a bit of a sheltered life prior to coming into the shelter and I am just learning that not everything is scary. I am looking for someone who can guide me through our lives together and always be my advocate.
I appear to be dog-social, so I'd be thrilled to have furry siblings to play with, I'll have to meet them first to ensure they can keep up with me. In my last home, I was around livestock and my previous owner stated I was playful toward them. I am a kelpie so it's in my nature to be curious of these furry creatures and want to herd them. However, I was a cat chaser so I think it'll be best for everyone if I don't have any of those exciting furballs in my new home. I'm looking for a home with humans who are 6 years and older, as I have lots to offer to those who understand my energetic, and sometimes shy personality. My new yard will need to be solid colourbond with solid footings so I cannot squeeze out anywhere.
Are you ready for a bouncing ball of joy in your life? I can't wait to meet you!
