About Tessa - 5 Year Old Dachshund X (On Trial)
Tessa is a 5 year old Dachshund cross girl. She has a loving nature and is gentle and sweet.
Tessa would be ideal for a family with older children, or an adult only family, who are after a small quiet dog with lovely manners.
Tessa has been in foster care for 6 weeks, she was a little anxious and scared of her new surroundings at first but with love and time she has she has blossomed into a lovely little dog.
Tessa lives to make her humans happy; she greets you every morning with a smile and loves to snuggle in bed at night.
Tessa sleeps through the night, she enjoys being close to you at night so she will suit a family that allows her to sleep on their bed or close by in her doggy bed.
Tessa is being house trained in foster care and this will need to be continued when she is adopted. She still has the occasional accident. Tess walks well on the lead and loves going to the park. She travels in the car well and loves to watch the world go by.
In foster care she has been living with four other small dogs who she gets along with well, she would best suit being in a family with another small dog for company or would do well as an only dog if you are home most of the time.
Tessa has been eating high quality dog biscuits in foster care, although she does enjoy the odd treat of barbeque chicken or Smackos.
Tessa has a low care coat that only requires a brush every day and the occasional bath.
Tessa is in foster care in Fennell Bay NSW and is available for local adoption only. Her adoption fee is $600 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
